How to Improve my Japanese?

If I'm not in Japan, I wonder how I can improve my Japanese.

I thought about it a little and this is what I came up with.

Everyone watches movies, listens to music, watches tv and reads books right? Well if I can do all of those things in Japanese, I'll learn it fast. If I can do any hobby in Japanese it'll definitely help me learn it.

Everyweek if I can find it, I watch anime or dramas without subtitles in Japanese. I really like manzai (a form of stand up comedy in Japan) alot so I try to watch those too. I also study by listening to some podcasts about Japanese. Anyways I'm wondering what else I can do. Do you know any interesting dramas, movies, or anime? Do you have and recommendations? If so please let me know I want to read more watch more and experience more in Japanese.

If you could provide a link to watch it, or a link to amazon to buy it I'd much appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hey, Nick!
How have you been?
Wow, you still try well to learn Japanese even after you moved to the US. It reminded me that you surprisingly improved your skill of Japanese while you stayed in our town for a year.

Well, I don't know if it will be any help for you but I heard that our news program NHK can be watched overseas. I don't know which channel though. Check it out!

And, if you don't mind to pay some for your study, I found this website.

This may not be the best way though. If you are seriously interested to learning Japanese through our TV program, I can try to get more information or try to look for better one for you.
