How to Improve my Japanese? 日本語の上達のために

日本にいなくても、日本語を上達させるためには、どうしたらいいでしょうか？

ちょっと考えて、いい方法を思い付きました。

だれもが、映画やテレビ番組を見たり、音楽を聴いたり、本を読んでいたりします。だから、趣味を習っている外国語で楽しむことができたら、すぐに外国語を覚えることができると思います。

毎週、見つけることができれば字幕なしでドラマとアニメと映画を見たり、漫才が大好きなので、漫才も見たり、本を読んだり、iPｏｄの Podcastも日本語の勉強の番組を聞いたり、それから何をすればいいでしょうか？面白い本とか番組とか映画は何かありますか？Podcastを聞きま すか？

おすすめありますか？もっと日本の面白いものを見て、聞いて、そして読みたいです！

インタネットで見る番組とかamazonのリンクとか、どっちらでも書いたら感謝しています。

If I'm not in Japan, I wonder how I can improve my Japanese.

I thought about it a little and this is what I came up with.

Everyone watches movies, listens to music, watches tv and reads books right? Well if I can do all of those things in Japanese, I'll learn it fast. If I can do any hobby in Japanese it'll definitely help me learn it.

Everyweek if I can find it, I watch anime or dramas without subtitles in Japanese. I really like manzai (a form of stand up comedy in Japan) alot so I try to watch those too. I also study by listening to some podcasts about Japanese. Anyways I'm wondering what else I can do. Do you know any interesting dramas, movies, or anime? Do you have and recommendations? If so please let me know I want to read more watch more and experience more in Japanese.

Getting things in Order

Sorry I haven't written a post in a while. Ever since I got a job I haven't had time since I've been relaxing if I have time off and working almost 6 days a week.. I'm living at a friends house but I don't have my room yet. I need to put my bed together and buy a dresser so I can have my own room. Living like a nomad is difficult haha.

Got A Job

Hey everyone.
I got a job working at The Little Gym. I'll start on the 22nd this month. I have two weeks of training then I'll start being a full time employee.  It seems like alot of fun. I get to work with kids and do fun gymnastic stuff. Seems like a really light atmosphere and something  I will enjoy!

After returning back to the states I was on a train headed back home from NYC and just thinking to myself and I came up with a question. I wanted to ask other people, not only friends but strangers too. I also wanted to ask a variety of people from different places and different backgrounds.

およそ１ヶ月半前に日本からアメリカに帰国しました。日本に住んだ２年間で、僕の世界は広がっていきました。色々な世界の人々と会って、個人的な考えや感情と面白い話をして交流しました。 この経験から色々な考えを思い付きました。

先週末に大阪から友達がアメリカに来たので、ニューヨークに遊びに行きました。その日が終って、電車の中でよく考え、そしてこの質問を思い付きました。

アメリカ人として、そして自分にとって、アメリカ人の意味とは、なんだと思いますか？

日本に行く前は、そういう考え方がなかったんです。国際的な考え方に興味があるので、これを日本人にも聞きたいです。
